Defining Monitoring Requirements

Now that you’ve got the “who” and the “what” of your monitoring plan, it’s time to determine the “when” and the “where” and bring it all together. 

With clearly defined limit sets, we can now develop monitoring requirements. This involves determining the frequency and duration of monitoring activities, ensuring that we capture critical data at appropriate intervals. 

Click on the Monitoring Requirements tab after selecting a discharge permit.

 

Creating a new Monitoring plan is a simple task. To get started, simply click the '+Monitoring Plan' button on the screen. From there, you can customize your plan to meet your specific needs.



Requirement set name *: Name of the Requirement set.

Select Limit Set: Choose a selection from the pick list of existing limit sets.

Once all of the information is entered for Monitoring Requirements, click the 'Generate Requirements' button to proceed to the next screen, where you can add parameters to the requirement set. This step allows you to further customize and refine the monitoring requirements based on specific needs and preferences. 


After applying parameter groups or individual parameters, click next to define the Monitoring Location and Frequencies of the collection of samples.

Moving on, you can now define the Monitoring Location and Frequencies of the collection of samples. This is an important step as it ensures that you are collecting the right data to meet your objectives. Whether you choose to apply parameter groups or individual parameters, the next step is just a click away!



After applying facilities and locations, click on the 'Create' button and the Monitoring Requirements process is complete. You can now view the new Monitoring Requirement in the Monitoring Requirements Tab.
