Defining Inspection Types

Note: Access to the 'Admin' area and specific permissions are required to create an Inspection Type.

With access to the 'Admin' area and the required permissions, creating an Inspection Type is a breeze. Simply navigate to the 'Community Management' section from the 'Admin' option on the main menu, and then select 'InspectionTypes'. From there, you'll be able to effortlessly create and manage Inspection Types as needed.

Click the + Add Inspection Type button at the top of the screen, and you'll be on your way to creating a new inspection type in no time!



Inspection Type Name: Enter a unique name for the inspection.

Inspection Program: Select the program under which this inspection falls from the pick list choices of: Industrial Pretreatment, Water Protection, and Water Reclamation.

Status: Set the status of the inspection type to either Active or Inactive.

Primary Inspection Form: When creating an inspection type, you can choose a form from those created in the system that will serve as the primary document for data collection during the inspection. Once you have selected a form, you can add the inspection type to the inspection type list by clicking the Add inspection type button. This will allow you to easily access and use the inspection type in future inspections.

 

Now that you have your Inspection Types, you’re ready to get on with the day to day work of scheduling, submitting and handling any issues regarding inspections all in one spot.
