Configuring a Limit Set

So far we’ve been compiling all of your pertinent data in one spot to make it easy and efficient to manage. Now we dive into how to keep your industrial pre-treatment customers compliant and make water better.

Limit sets are essential for defining the parameters of discharge points and ensuring compliance. Creating a limit set is a simple two-step process that can be completed in minutes. To begin, access the permit you wish to apply a limit set to by clicking on the permit’s ID or name within the permit list in the Discharge permits area. Once you have accessed the permit, proceed to the next step of creating the limit set.

Click on the 'Limit Set' tab

Then, click on the “+ Limit Set” button.


In the pop up window, enter the appropriate information to create the new Limit Set.


 

Enter the Limit Set ID, and Limit set name as these are mandatory fields

You can also apply an abbreviation in the Abbreviations field.

Type: Choose from values found in this pick list for the type of limit set

Enter start date and end dates

Select regulated asset *: select associated asset from the pick list

DMR limit set designator: Area to enter the DMR limit set designator value

Limit sets: Select a limit set to copy from the provided pick list

Click Next to continue.

Limit Name: Enter a name for the limit

Klir limit ID: You may place a limit ID in this location.

Parameter: Select a parameter from the provided pick list.

Unit: Select a Unit from the provided pick list.

Bound Type: Select whether Upper or Lower bound values.

Limit: Select a Limit Value for the provided pick list.

Calculation and Round to Decimal: Select a Calculation Method and Rounding value from the provided pick lists.

Enter Start and End Dates.

Base Order: Select a Base Order from the provided Pick list.

Additional limits can be appended to the same limit set by clicking on the Create new limit button and following the above process to add the extra limit(s).

After all limits have been configured, the Limit Set can then be created by clicking the Create limit set button.
