Klir Sampling Reference Data File

One of the first things you'll be asked to do as part of your Onboarding experience is to complete the Klir Sampling Reference Data File.

This article will guide you through completing this file. The data provided will set the foundations for your monitoring plans and other areas of Klir.

This data can be modified, removed, or added to in the future but we like to get as many details imported during Onboarding as possible.

A video is available at the end of this article that provides additional information if needed.

Overview

The Overview tab categorizes required items with color-coded areas.

Sections

Note:

Each tab includes examples for your reference, which can be removed after use.

Manage Units and Methods:

Enter Units of Measure and Sampling/Analysis Methods linked to your results.

Parameters and Groups:

Enter Parameters, Parameter Aliases (If you are currently using a different naming convention for specific parameters, you can add these aliases and map them to the corresponding parameter values in Klir. For instance, you can introduce an alias like "Copper" for the parameter "Copper - Total". This means that wherever the alias "Copper" is used, it will refer to the "Copper - Total" parameter.), and Parameter Groups for Klir analysis. These are crucial for creating Monitoring Plans and managing Sample results.

Limits:

Enter Regulatory and Operational Limits against which Sample Results will be assessed.

Sample Location Hierarchy:

Enter Water Systems, Facilities, and Monitoring Locations for sample collection and recording, forming the core of your Sampling network in Klir.

Notable Headers:

- Columns marked with "*" and highlighted in Red denote mandatory data fields.

- Columns marked with "*" and highlighted in Yellow indicate data sourced from another tab, which should already be populated (e.g., linking Facilities to Water Systems).

Once populated, your data can be provided to your CSM so that it can be uploaded into the Klir platform.
