Overview

Export Form Results in Excel

Exporting Form Results: Users can now export a form's results (answers) into an Excel file directly from the "Forms" page. Simply click the ellipsis (three dots) under the "Actions" column and select "Export form results."

  • The file will be named based on the form's name and the date of export (e.g., Cross Connection Test Form (Mobile Testing)_04-Jun-2024).
  • The first row will show the form’s questions, and the first column will indicate where the form was created (e.g., task, inspection, location).
  • The remaining columns will match the questions from the form, and the corresponding answers will appear below them.
  • Special handling:
    • Yes/No questions will show as "Yes" or "No."
    • For single or multiple-choice questions, the chosen answer will appear as text, not numbers or codes. For multiple-choice, answers will be separated by commas.

Inspection Forms: Users can also export results from the "Inspection Forms" tab. This export will only include results for the specific inspection form, with only one row for the result.

Handling Updated Questions: If the text of a form question has changed over time, the export will use the latest version of the question text.

Archived Questions: Even if a question has been archived, if there are answers related to it, that question and its responses will still be included in the export.

Multiple Answers: If there are multiple responses for the same entity, only the response related to the current form snapshot will be shown.
