What’s New in v9.9.7
Klir v9.9.7 introduces several enhancements focused on improving data entry workflows, GIS connectivity, search functionality, and overall platform performance. Highlights include the new Ad Hoc Data Entry Workflow, ArcGIS Enterprise Integration, enhanced Customer & Facility Search, expanded Co-Permittee options, and performance improvements across the platform.
Community Updates
ArcGIS Enterprise Integration
ArcGIS Enterprise Integration
Organizations can now securely connect private GIS layers directly from ArcGIS Enterprise environments into Klir.
Enhancements include:
- Support for private ArcGIS Enterprise connections
- The ability to use ArcGIS Online and Enterprise layers together
- Improved GIS authentication error messaging
- Simplified Enterprise connection setup
Custom Pretreatment Year Cycles
Administrators can now configure custom Pretreatment Year start months to better align Significant Non-Compliance (SNC) calculations with local reporting requirements.
This update provides:
- Flexible Pretreatment Year configuration for SNC evaluations
- Better alignment with local compliance workflows
- Continued support for standard calendar-year setups by default
Enhanced Customer & Facility Search
Customer and Facility search has been improved to make identifying accounts faster and easier.
Updates include:
- Dropdowns now displaying Operating Names and Full Addresses
- Enhanced search across names, addresses, and zip codes
- Improved visibility for similar customer records
Expanded Co-Permittee Options
Co-Permittee management has been enhanced to simplify permitting workflows and facility linking.
Users can now:
- Search and link facilities directly from connected billing address data
- Automatically create customer and facility records when needed
- Use improved permit tracking and filtering options
Important Note: Automatically created Customer, Facility, and Contact records may contain default values and should be reviewed and updated as needed.
Global Dropdown Optimization
We’ve improved dropdown performance across the platform to provide a faster experience when working with large datasets.
Improvements include:
- Faster dropdown loading
- Improved search responsiveness
- Reduced browser lag in large environments
Bug Fixes
This release also includes fixes to improve reliability and day-to-day workflows, including:
- Restored file upload functionality in the customer portal
- Improved search consistency across pages
- More reliable data imports
- Fixes to ensure permit data updates behave as expected
Drinking Water & Wastewater Updates
Ad Hoc Data Entry Workflow
The new Ad Hoc Data Entry Workflow provides a more flexible and organized way to manually enter sample result data into Klir.
Users can now:
- Create, save, and submit Data Entry Sessions
- View real-time result evaluations during entry
- Duplicate samples to speed up repetitive tasks
- Add or remove result parameters as needed
- Save sessions as drafts and return later
- Maintain audit tracking through read-only submitted sessions
Bug Fixes & Improvements
This release also includes general bug fixes and performance improvements to enhance usability, stability, and overall system performance across Klir.
