Step 1: Navigate to the Asset Model Catalog
- From the main menu, go to Community → Admin → Asset Management → Asset Model Catalog.

Step 2: Create a New Asset Model
- Click + Asset Model on the right-hand side.
- Complete the required fields (*):
- Asset Name*
- Asset Class*
- Asset Type* (dropdown becomes available after selecting an Asset Class)
- Manufacturer*
- Model*
- Orientation
- Size
- Status (Active or Inactive)
- Asset Approval (Approved or Not Approved)
- Delegation (External or Internal)
- Notes
- Asset Name*
- Click Create.
Your new asset model will now appear in the Asset Catalog.
Tip: Use the Search Bar to quickly find assets by name when the list is long.
Step 3: Edit an Asset Model
- From the Asset Catalog, click on the asset you want to edit.
- Update the fields as needed (*):
- Asset Name*
- Asset Class*
- Asset Type* (dropdown becomes available after selecting an Asset Class)
- Manufacturer*
- Model*
- Orientation
- Size
- Status (Active or Inactive)
- Asset Approval (Approved or Not Approved)
- Delegation (External or Internal)
- Notes
- Asset Name*
- Click Save.
Your updated asset model will now appear in the Asset Catalog with the reflected changes.
Step 4: Use Filters in the Asset Catalog
Test the catalog filters to narrow down results. You can filter by:
- Asset Class
- Status
- Manufacturer
- Type
- Delegation
- Asset Approval

Note: Most test data has been created for Asset Class = Backflow. Limited test data is available for other classes, with only one item currently available for Asset Class = Hydrant.
