How to Transfer Assets from one facility to another - Edit assets

Assets can be transferred between customers and customer facilities directly from the Asset Edit page. This provides flexibility when managing assets, while maintaining a complete transfer history for traceability.

Step 1: Navigate to Asset Inventory

  1. Go to Community → Admin → Asset Management → Asset Inventory.

  2. From the table, click on the asset you want to transfer.

  3. Select Edit Asset.

Step 2: Transfer the Asset

  • To transfer to a different Customer, update the Customer field.

  • To transfer to a different Facility, update the Facility field.

  • Click Save.

Step 3: View Transfer History

  1. From the Asset Detail page, click the three vertical dots (kebab menu).



  1. Select Asset History to view a full log of transfer activity.
